Our short bee school is an introduction to beekeeping, honey and the amazing life bees live. Our 3-hour class gives students the general knowledge of how bees work and introduce students to the sweet world of honeybees.

We keep our classes small so that everyone has a great experience and there is plenty of time to ask questions.

This short class will give you an overview of how bees and beekeepers work and also provide the opportunity to open up a beehive and get up close with all the different types of bees you learn about earlier in the class.

Our short class is not designed to get you ready for your very first hive but to give you a fun and interesting look at how bees interact with our environment and how beekeepers work. Plus some extra fun inside a beehive that you won't experience anywhere else.

The short class is held at Red Mountain Makers where will meet in a classroom and then we will open our hives that are onsite.

You do not need any beekeeping experience to come to this class. We will provide any necessary protective gear for opening our hives.
