+ What kind of membership do you offer?
+ What does membership entail?
Membership allows you to use every tool and lab available at the makerspace. You will also get earlier access to new classes as well as a 10% discount on classes and our online store. Finally it gives you access to the knowledge of a community of 50+ makers! We can help you use anything that is on site, and if there is something new we are going to learn it side-by-side with you!
+ Can I pause my membership?

+ How do I become a keyholder?
As a new member you are asked to show excellent maker behavior (skills, knowledge of the tools, respect of common property), for at least 30 days skills during Open Hours. The board will then vote to give you full privileges and voting rights. Once approved, a member can opt to purchase full member benefits and will be subject to full member responsibilities and privileges. You are welcome to keep your regular membership if it fits your needs!

+ Do you teach classes?
Yes, we do! Visit our CLASSES page to see all classes available and past classes we've had. Filter them by department to see only the ones you are interested in!
+ When are classes?
Most classes are taught during the weekend, with some evening offerings during the week. Ultimately they are offered based on the availability of the instructors. You can check the Classes Calendar here.
+ How do I sign up?
You can register directly on the CLASSES page by clicking on the register button of the event you would like to attend.
+ Do I need to bring anything?
Check the class description for materials / protective equipment that you may need to bring, as well as appropriate dress code to work in the shops.
+ I need to cancel: can I get a refund?
Yes, if you cancel at least 14 days before the beginning of the class.
+ I had an emergency: can I attend this class at a later time?
Yes, by reaching out to email@example.com, at your earliest convenience. We will give you credit towards another session available at a later date.
+ Can I teach a class?
We're excited you asked! Yes, you can apply to teach classes by filling up this inquiry form. We will be in touch with you in 1-2 weeks to finalize details. Please also account for 30 additional days to properly promote the class.
+ Can I rent Studio space?
Our studios are 8x8 or 8x16 rooms. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 205.588.4077 to inquire about renting studio space.
+ Do you provide tours?
Yes, come by during our Open Hours Tuesday, Thursday 6-9pm and Sunday 7-9pm. Feel free to call us before if you have any questions at 205.588.4077.
+ Do you accept donations?
Donations are more than welcome! We are a registered 501(c)3 Non-profit, so all donations are tax deductible.
+ How much can I donate?
Any amount is well accepted, and can be donated on a one-time basis or monthly. We have a tier system to recognize our donors:

Donations help in any area of operations of the makerspace: from paying rent to buying supplies for classes! We occasionally also fundraise to purchase new large equipment.
