Forged Corkscrew

For those looking to dive in, this class is an excellent choice. Utilizing various techniques, students will follow along through demonstration to create a corkscrew bottle opener, forged entirely out of a single piece of metal! This is a great class that fully immerses students in the work and tools of a blacksmith. There will be more emphasis on the task of forming and manipulating metal through the introduction and use of tongs to handle hot metal. Students will utilize a variety of blacksmithing techniques toward the completion of a usable corkscrew. No prior classes or prerequisites are required for this class.

Task involved - (Drawing/stretching, rounding, planishing/smoothing, shaping, twisting)

There will be no refunds within 14 days of the event.
